Baawari Jogan is all about intoxication of divine love and the carefree-ness of the lover. Each track of this album casts a spell on to the listener. It uplifts, inspires and takes one beyond the realms of mind into the realm where there is only divine love, intense devotion and intriguing wisdom. Deeper realities have been exquisitely encapsulated in these poetic expressions penned by revered master Anandmurti Gurumaa. The opening track ‘Prem Pyala Guru Diya’ mesmerises one with divine love showered by the beloved master which is intoxicating as well as liberating. It is this love that makes one celebrate amidst pain and pleasure, joy and sorrow, birth and death as beautifully expressed in ‘Hum Mast Rehte Hain’ and intensifies the love & longing for the Lord as in ‘Hey Ram, Hey Ram’. One may question what is it that keeps one away from experiencing blissful self. It’s only the ego, thus says the next track ‘Jab Khudi Ko Chodega’. Then comes ‘Diya Jale Agam Ka’ pointing toward That which is self-effulgent, which has no beginning and no end, which is all-pervasive. Here the analogy is that of the outer flame which needs fuel and as well as the wick, whereas nothing is needed to light the inner flame. And when it burns fiercely all that one sees is the divine pervading within and without. This is what is expressed in the track ‘Jaoon Main Jahaan Tum Hi Ho Vahaan’ meaning ‘wherever I go I find only Thou’. It’s contagiously blissful!
